About us
Maternal Village is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to support children, adolescents, and families through compassionate, community-based care. We exist to help fill the gap when parents or caregivers are overwhelmed, in crisis, in transition, or simply in need of additional support raising and caring for a child.
At Maternal Village, we believe that children thrive when they are surrounded by safe adults, structure, healing, and opportunity. Our role is to serve as an extension of the village by providing therapeutic residential support, mental health services, outpatient psychiatric care, primary care, and family-centered resources that promote stability and well-being.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a continuum of therapeutic, clinical, and supportive services that strengthen children, adolescents, and families. Through residential care, mental health treatment, psychiatric services, primary care, and community-based support, Maternal Village exists to help youth heal, grow, and thrive while helping families feel supported—not alone.
Our Vision
Our vision is to restore the village approach to caring for children and families by creating a safe, nurturing, and healing-centered environment where youth receive the structure, treatment, encouragement, and support they need to succeed. We envision stronger families, healthier children, and communities where no parent has to struggle without support and no child is left without care.
Our Believe
We believe that raising children was never meant to be done alone. Every child deserves safety, compassion, guidance, and access to quality care, and every family deserves support during difficult seasons. We believe healing happens best in community, which is why Maternal Village exists as an extension of the village—women, mothers, healers, and professionals coming together to help children and families feel seen, supported, and strengthened.
Our Values
At Maternal Village, our work is rooted in compassion, safety, dignity, accountability, healing, and family-centered care. We are committed to creating supportive spaces where youth feel protected, families feel respected, and every individual is treated with empathy and purpose. We value collaboration, community connection, and culturally responsive care that honors the unique needs of the children and families we serve.
